[ He doesn't look too bothered by the idea, at least. He doesn't love it,b but he can deal.. ]

That doesn't mean you exactly like her, romantically or not. Nice people can still be boring. [Fie's pretty matter of fact about it, leaving Louis the opportunity to agree or not.]

But he'd do his duty for his family, because that's what he had to do. It'd feel an awful lot like his father wasted a lot of money on him if Louis didn't at the very least have children to continue their family. ]

Nice people are sometimes very boring. But, I don't need to cause my family any more trouble than I've already had. Teenagers can be hard to deal with for parents, I bet.

[ Louis' ears perk at that, he's glad to hear that she's... happy he's not miserable. Sure, he doesn't need her to say it, he knows they're friends, but sometimes someone saying it to you is a nice thing. He always hears about how people think he looks or that he's talented and things like that.

But for someone to say that they're glad he's not miserable. It's weird and new. It's good he's not a canine, he notes. His dumb tail would be wagging involuntarily and he knows it. ]
